Description
The Joint cover profile C is intended exclusively for vertical application and covers the vertical seams tightly to create an attractive line pattern. When there are joints with horizontal seams along the cover profile, an EPDM foil is recommended between the wooden battens and the cover profile to protect the battens against rainwater penetration. When the joint cover profile is not interrupted, such as in the case of a fascia, an EPDM foil is not strictly necessary. The joint cover profile is clamped in place.
The Joint cover profile C is of high quality and are used for Rockpanel facade and interior construction. As standard, these profiles (working material number AlMgSi0.5) are supplied in lengths of 3.055 m with a natural anodized surface treatment of 15 Mu. XL-Panel can supply these specific profiles on a project basis in any NCS, Sikkens or Ral design color.
The powder-coated profiles are produced with the Qualicoat® quality label in the standard RAL colors. There is also a choice of various gloss degrees of 78% (gloss) or 58% (matt). Furthermore, the material thickness of at least 1.1 mm guarantees a (minimal) chance of buckling of the profiles at the location of a free span.
