EPDM jointing strips and tapes are increasingly being used in ventilated facade construction, so of course these products should not be missing from the range of the total supplier in ventilated facade construction.
EPDM jointing tape can be used to protect and finish a rear construction consisting of wood battens.
The EPDM jointing tape is available in both self-adhesive and flat on rolls, in various thicknesses, namely: 0.5 – 0.75 – 1.0mm thickness.

Because the EPDM is black in color, it absolutely does not stand out between the joints given the shadow effect of the facade panels. The abbreviation EPDM stands for: Ethylene Propylene diene Monomer and is UV resistant so very durable. The product is very flexible and water repellent.
The flat variant must be attached to the wooden back construction by means of nails or staples, the self-adhesive variant is easier to assemble and can be stuck directly to the back construction, saving time and therefore money.
The most standard sizes are obviously in stock at XL-Panel, but like the product itself we are also very flexible, because we cut the product ourselves from the basic roll, we can deliver any width very quickly. The rolls are standard available in lengths of 20m1 and 40m1 making the rolls very handy.
In addition to the flat variant and the self-adhesive variant, XL-Panel also has EPDM with raised edges (popularly called Bostik tape or EPDM-Z) and various foam tapes in its range.
