Description
The Skirting profile J (see drawing) is ideal as a finish along the bottom edge to give an extra accent or as a connection to another material in the same plane. For vertical seam joints, the skirting is mounted on an EPDM joint strip to protect the battens. The profile is mechanically fixed using a fixed point and several slotted holes.
The Skirting profile J is of high quality and are used for Rockpanel facade and interior construction. As standard, these profiles (working material number AlMgSi0.5) are supplied in lengths of 3.055 meters with a natural anodized surface treatment of 15 Mu. XL-Panel can supply these specific profiles on a project basis in any NCS, Sikkens or Ral design color. The powder-coated profiles are produced with the Qualicoat® quality label in the standard RAL colors. There is also a choice of various gloss degrees of 78% (gloss) or 58% (matte). Furthermore, the material thickness of at least 1.1 mm guarantees a (minimal) chance of buckling of the profiles at the location of a free span.
All profiles are suitable for 6, 8 or 10 mm board thicknesses for Rockpanel Natural, Ply, Colours, Metallics and Woods, with the exception of Rockpanel Profile K (suitable only for Rockpanel Secret Fix) and Profile G (not suitable for Rockpanel Lines Regular and Secret Fix).
