Description
The Starting profile K is specially designed for the “Secret Fix Rockpanel Lines” product. Using the starter profile, the first (lower) “Lines” can be fixed invisibly on the lower side. The battens at the start profile should be tapered slightly so that the profile has the correct position for joining the “Lines” in one plane. To give the vertical battens behind the Lines maximum durability and protect against moisture penetration, EPDM jointing strips should be used on the battens.
The Starting profile K is of high quality and are used for Rockpanel facade and interior construction. As standard, these profiles (working material number AlMgSi0.5) are supplied in lengths of 3.055 meters with a natural anodized surface treatment of 15 Mu. XL-Panel can supply these specific profiles on a project basis in any NCS, Sikkens or Ral design color. The powder-coated profiles are produced with the Qualicoat® quality label in the standard RAL colors. There is also a choice of various gloss degrees of 78% (gloss) or 58% (matte). Furthermore, the material thickness of at least 1.1 mm guarantees a (minimal) chance of buckling of the profiles at the location of a free span.
