Description
Gunwale corner profile G, like corner profiles type D and E, is intended for vertical application only. The profile is dimensioned so that the side of the gunwale part is always covered by the profile. Here too, the vertical battens at the corner must be covered with an EPDM joint strip to prevent the effect of rainwater on the battens (see also drawing). The profile is fixed through and through when mounting the sheets, but can also be easily fixed using the V-groove in the legs of the profile, which prevents the screw from slipping.
The Gunwale corner profile G is of high quality and are used for Rockpanel facade and interior construction As standard, these profiles (working material number AlMgSi0.5) are supplied in lengths of 3.055 meters with a natural anodized surface treatment of 15 Mu. XL-Panel can supply these specific profiles on a project basis in any NCS, Sikkens or Ral design color. The powder-coated profiles are produced with the Qualicoat® quality label in the standard RAL colors. There is also a choice of various gloss degrees of 78% (gloss) or 58% (matte). Furthermore, the material thickness of at least 1.1 mm guarantees a (minimal) chance of buckling of the profiles at the location of a free span.
